This Form 3B, Type 2 cubicle pattern switchboard, with busbars rated at 65kA, is arranged to accept plug-in switch fuses rated between 63 Amp and 630 Amp within the same cubicle tier width and depth.
The system can be extended or upgraded quickly and simply by your local electrician as electrical demand grows.
The degree of protection of the panel is IP41 (higher IP ratings available) and the degree of protection afforded by busbar shrouds with a switch fuse or blank insert removed is not less than IP20.
Switch fuses comply with IEC 947-3, BS EN 60947-3, single or triple pole and the fuses fitted comply with IEC 269-2.
Cable terminations of the cable lug type are contained within each individual switch fuse and a proprietary cable shroud is fitted to provide additional protection against accidental contact with live terminations contained within the switch fuse.
Spare ways within cubicle tiers are complete with busbar shrouds to IP20 and blank inserts are ready to accept additional outgoing switch fuses of the appropriate rating, which may be installed by competent electricians in minutes.
